A New Haven

I'm spending some time at CampKIP this weekend and I took a little excursion to check on the river. Thankfully everything seems in order. I checked out the John Colter Memorial and enjoyed the view for a bit and now I'm back at camp and playing with fiber.

Steampumpk'd

I spent most of the past couple of weekends spinning some lovely 100% superwash English 56's wool. I picked up this beautiful hand dyed roving at Sheep Day from Dyeabolical and if you haven't checked out her stunning colors then go to www.dyeabolical.com and enjoy. I love the colors and the long color lengths in the singles. I think I decided this roughly in half so I'm hoping the colors somewhat line up and give me some nice long repeats in the final product.

Forest Park Hoodie

Once that's finished I have to decide to do the hood or look into mods to do a shawl collar of some sort. I won't ever wear the hood so I'm thinking I might change the particular piece. Don't worry, I'll let you know what I decide.
My view and the sweater pieces (oh and some surprise visitors:
